Uduak Akpabio Umoren is a novelist and playwright. Her first published work, Perfect Mother, a drama, was nominated for the Nigeria Prize for Literature in 2010. Little Devils, her second drama, was published in 2013. Impostor Alert! is her first novel.

She is working on a second novel, The Search, and a third drama, Akutama’s Price. She lives in Uyo with her family.
