Omoni Oboli, actor, writer, director and film producer, was born in Benin City, Nigeria. A rare breed of performer, Omoni—who goes by her first name—is the star and director of such films as Being Mrs Elliott, Wives on Strike, and Okafor’s Law. She keeps homes in Lagos and Halifax, Canada, with her husband, Nnamdi, and their three sons.
