Niran Adedokun is a public relations practitioner, lawyer and writer who has experience in the private, government and non-governmental sectors. He is the author of Ladies Calling the Shots, a profile of seventeen top female film and television directors in Nigeria, released in 2017. Adedokun is the publisher of eelive.ng and a columnist with The PUNCH and The Cable newspapers. His largely non-partisan pieces advocate for responsible governance as well as a dutiful and alert citizenry. He argues that unless everyone wakes up to their responsibility, a better Nigeria will remain a dream. His other books are The Danfo Driver in All of Us and Other Essays, a compilation of his reflections on national issues; The Law Is an Ass, a collection of fictional short stories; and the recently released The Man, the Soldier, the Patriot: Biography of Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru. He is a long-time associate and mentee of Mr Adenuga and is co-author of An Unusual Biography: Wale Adenuga MFR.
