Jake Effoduh

Jake Okechukwu Effoduh is a Partner at Praxis & Gnosis Law. He obtained his Bachelor of Law in 2010 from the department of Public and International Law at the University of Abuja and subsequently advanced to the Nigerian Law School in 2011 where he qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Effoduh holds two master’s degrees in international law from the University of Oxford in the UK, and from York University in Canada respectively. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Osgoode Hall Law School and a recipient of the Vanier Scholarship, the most prestigious doctoral award in Canada. He is conducting research on the legitimization of artificial intelligence in Africa. Effoduh serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Frontier Risks working to identify key future shocks for the next generation and proposing policy opportunities that will build resiliency in the face of global risks.
