Amaka Chika-Mbonu holds a BA Honours in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar in Cross Rivers State, Nigeria. She is the author of the game-changing book on relationships, How to Get Your Wife to Swing to From the Chandelier in a Red Negligee: A Biblical Perspective. She has been a born-again believer for thirty-one years and is a certified pre-marital counsellor. She has also been a marriage counsellor in her home church for fifteen years. Marriage, she believes requires a particular kind of knowledge and skill-set, and she is passionate and committed to communicating this to men and women. Her mantra remains: “marriage for a lifetime, not just a moment in time”. Amaka has spoken at several female empowerment meetings, giving valuable insight into what she has gleaned from several counselling sessions with varied couples and from personal experience.
